Welcome to the website of the European Brominated Flame Retardant Industry Panel (EBFRIP).

EBFRIP is a European trade association, representing the common interests of the major manufacturers of brominated flame retardants, and is a sector group of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, based in Brussels. Cefic also houses EFRA, the European Flame Retardants Association, representing all flame retardant producers.

    Albemarle, Chemtura and ICL–IP have decided to dissolve EBFRIP (The European Brominated Flame Retardant Industry Panel) and to integrate - as of the 1st quarter of 2011 - the industry's advocacy activities into EFRA, the European Flame Retardant Association, which represents all flame retardant technologies currently in use.
